A portfolio is precious cargo. Keep the hard copy safe from inclement weather, fire, flood, theft, coffee spills and greasy fingers. It should fit into an overhead compartment or under an airplane seat. Make a copy or take photos of the hard copy and leave it with (or email the photos to) a friend or put a CD of photos into a safety deposit box.
